Mariquita was built in 1911 one of four 19 meter yachts designed by William Fife.

Recently restored at Fairlee, UK, she is back, beautiful and racing with Jim Thom at the helm.
These paintings are based on the first re-appearance of Mariquita the the Regatte Royale in Cannes 2004.
